Product Description

The POW*MIA Holographic Rectangle Decal shows concern for those in the military who have been taken as prisoners of war or listed as missing in action. During the Vietnam War, the POW*MIA design was created in 1972 by Newt Heisley. POW wife Evelyn Grubb campaigned for this cause to the government and local organizations. In 1988, National POW*MIA Recognition Day was passed by Congress. In 1990, Congress passed US Public Law 101-355, recognizing it as a symbol of our Nation's commitment to resolving the fate of those who were or are prisoners of war, missing, and unaccounted for inaction in Southeast Asia and all American wars. Honor those who are or have been a prisoner of war or are missing in action with our POW*MIA Holographic Rectangle Decals. You are not forgotten!
